Part time casual ongoing position available Flexible hours in offer Job expectation • maintains routine and accurate bookkeeping • closely work with accountant manager • keeps records of payments made • determines which accounts are overdue • contacts companies who owe money in writing or by telephone to recover the outstanding balance • makes follow-up calls • in non-payment cases, makes the decision to ‘hand over’ to lawyers for collection • perfect communication skills and advanced English • good at mathematics and/or accounting • logical and organised • methodical • confident • able to handle difficult, non-paying customers with diplomacy • accurate • computer literate Debtor Clerks will receive in-house training, in the accounts department.
